Relationship Counselling

Perhaps you are wanting to find a space to explore specific challenges within your relationship with your partner or individual i.e family member, or maybe you are trying to get on the same page with regards to the future of your relationship i.e working to stay together or working to separate.

People come to see me for help with constant arguing, lack of intimacy, sexual differences, an affair, struggles around a big decision i.e which way to go next, traumatic experiences, co-parenting issues - or to nurture a good relationship, but to address some niggles. Others have been struggling silently, with feelings of self-doubt or relationship anxiety.

As a Couples Therapist I will be guiding you towards a steady, intentionally safe foundation from which you can explore your communication style, and negative cycles. You can learn how to speak in a way that you feel heard. Difficult conversations will become so much easier. My sessions can be structured, with exercises and tools, or you might wish to let things unfold more organically.

Individual Therapy

As an experienced, accredited Therapist (MBACP) I will encourage you to develop a clear and unique perspective on the areas of your life that you bring to Therapy.

People who come to see me have struggled with feelings which fall into the category of; Low mood, Depression or Anxiety. Often people come to see me with feelings of Un-Fulfilment or an inner voice that tells them they aren’t good enough.

Other themes that people bring to me are around; Identity, Grief & Loss, Low Self Esteem, Shame, Guilt, Rage, Relationship Issues, Problems at Work, Unwanted Patterns of Behaviour, Trauma, Historical Abuse or Unresolved issues from the past….

I trained in Gestalt and at the heart of my approach I will be working Holistically and Relationally, which means that the Here and Now relationship between you and I is kept in mind and attended to. I also draw from a range of models, depending on your needs. So for example, you might feel you want to achieve a specific outcome from Therapy, in which case I could introduce you to some therapeutic tools, to use outside of your sessions.

Parent Coaching

If you are co-parenting with someone and struggling to get on the same page, or concerned about your child’s or your own emotional outbursts, I can offer a space to think together about whats going on, as well as suggest some emotional-regulation and parenting tools.
